  • Learn about United Way of North Idaho's Ready for Kindergarten Program
  • FREE Developmental Screening for 0-5 year old kids in Coeur d'Alene School District.
    These are free screenings for children who live in the Coeur d'Alene School District and are between the ages of 0 to 5 yrs old. The purpose is to provide parents with information regarding their child's development in: Speech & Language Skills, Gross/Fine Motor (Large & Small Muscle) Skills, Basic Academic Concepts, Vision & Hearing.

College Savings Accounts - Plan Ahead!

It's never too early to start thinking about your child's education, and to get them involved in the process. Consider a savings program, such as a 529 Plan (A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged savings plan designed to encourage saving for future college costs. 529 plans, legally known as “qualified tuition plans,” are sponsored by states, state agencies, or educational institutions and are authorized by Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code.
