Gov. Otter proposes boost for Idaho education

College, Careers & Coffee - January Meeting

The College, Careers & Coffee group meets monthly on the FIRST TUESDAY at 8:00 a.m. at the Idaho Department of Labor, Post Falls Office at 600 N Thornton St.

The purpose of this group is to connect individuals who are interested in promoting college and career opportunities, options and resources.

2016-2017 FAFSA Application Available Now!

The 2016-2017 academic year lasts from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.

A FAFSA can be filed for the 2016-2017 academic year any time between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.

NOTE: You do NOT need to have completed your 2015 Tax Return to begin the application process.

$25,000 Super Scholarship Raffle


The Post Falls Chamber of Commerce is holding a $25,000 Scholarship Raffle:

A few details:

  • No more than 1,000 tickets will be sold.
  • Odds of winning depend on the number of tickets sold.
  • Tickets are Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($50.00) each and there are no limits on how many tickets you can purchase, so long as there are tickets available.It is anticipated that tickets will sell out. 
  • The official drawing will be held by November 30, 2016 or sooner, if tickets are sold out by prior date.Number of tickets sold and drawing date and location will be advertised on the Post Falls Chamber website at: The drawing will be held in Kootenai County, Idaho.
